JANUARY
January of 2005 marks the 201st anniversary of Haiti's independence from France. Tonel Lakay performed at the annual Haitian Catholic Mass on January 1st, 2005 at St. Thomas Aquinas.
APRIL
Tonel Lakay participated
in several events this month:
Saturday April 2nd, 2005 ~ The Association for
the Children of Reginer held a fundraiser to raise funds for a school
being
built in Haiti.

MAY
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!! Tonel Lakay participated in 2 Mother's Day celebrations
this month:
Saturday May 28th at Eden Garden Restaurant in New York
Sunday May 29th at Anton Banquet Hall in New York
JULY
Tonel Lakay held their annual Graduation Celebration
on Sunday July 3rd, 2005, honoring the scholastic
achievements of students in our community. We thank everyone who supported
this event and all of the participants who shared their talents with the
community.

its Family Day Picnic on Saturday July 23rd at Rockland State Park!!
Thank you to everyone who brought food and drinks, games and music...and a
special thanks to our cooks!!
SEPTEMBER
Tonel Lakay will resume classes on Saturday September 10th at 3:30pm. Classes will be held at St. Monica Hall (47 Sterling Place, Brooklyn NY ). We welcome everyone, all ages, to come and join us. We invite you to share your talents and creativity with us!!
